A new employee portal tile gives clear, up-to-date insights on FAMLI benefits and need supplemental leave. It will automatically update following changes to an employee’s leave schedule, wage replacement benefits or base compensation.

The university’s private FAMLI coverage will debut on Jan. 1, 2024. Employees can now apply for eligible paid leave for a medical or family care absence.

As of July 1, 2023, all classified staff will be required to pay the .45% premium for the FAMLI program, following State of Colorado legislative changes passed in April 2023.
