The HRIS team in Employee Services recently updated the job code definitions for adjoint faculty based on recommendations from the Job Code Working Group Committee to align with APS 5060 Appendix A: Faculty Titles. There’s more to payroll funding than position funding. To make sense of the payroll transactions that post to the general ledger, account codes classify the kind of earnings and benefits processed by payroll and are used to post fringe rates and encumbrances.
Several updates have been made to the job code table in HCM and the benefits eligibility matrix for faculty job codes to align with Administrative Policy Statement 5060. Updates have also been made to the matrix for university staff and retiree additional jobs.
