Submit a claim to The Standard through a new online system
The way policyholders submit a claim and/or form to The Standard is changing. The Standard can now accept claims for Short Term Disability and Life Insurance along with Medical History Statement forms through their website. Previously, an individual must print a claim form and send it to The Standard Insurance. The Standard then notifies an HCM user who reaches out to Employee Services.
This lengthy process is now streamlined and more user-friendly with a new system that allows users to make claims online. Once the claim or form is submitted, Employee Services will be notified, and a representative will reach out to the campus HR department to assist the employee.
A step-by-step guide on navigating this new system will soon be available.
