Newly hired employees can now set up direct deposit before their start date

People recently hired by the university can once again set up their direct deposit information in the employee portal within 60 days prior to their start date.

This functionality had previously been available to new hires, but the PUM upgrade last fall removed access to the direct deposit module for pre-start employees.

The module’s restoration allows new hires to establish their direct deposit information before they begin working to ensure their first paycheck can be electronically deposited.

People with Job Data will be able to access this module once they have employee portal access. Please note that people with a pre-employment Person of Interest (POI) relationship with the university must also be set up in Job Data in order to access this module.
