LinkedIn Learning available to CU employees, students this September

The online learning and professional development platform Lynda.com will upgrade to LinkedIn Learning this September.

LinkedIn Learning will retain popular Lynda.com features while delivering a more personalized learning experience, helping employees and students learn new skills or refine current skills with greater ease in their portals

Take courses on your own and recommend learning paths to your team

Whether you or your team want to increase your Human Resources know-how or enhance your leadership abilities, LinkedIn Learning offers an extensive course library with a large variety of topics, content recommendations, transcripts and exercise files.

Recommending learning paths is also easy. You’ll simply login to LinkedIn Learning through my.cu.edu, find a learning path and send the link through LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter.

Share achievements on LinkedIn

After the upgrade, you will have the option to connect your CU LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn profile. Linking accounts will provide a more personalized experience with specialized course recommendations based on job title, skills and industry.

You’ll even receive digital course completion badges that can be added to your profiles as well as ways to discover relevant learning content through your LinkedIn feed. Set up your LinkedIn profile by following these instructions.
