The CU Advantage is your one-stop shop for CU perks and benefits

The University of Colorado delivers many benefits, resources, perks and discounts as part of its commitment to CU faculty and staff.

The problem? Finding all these perks used require extensive searching and ample patience. The solution: CU Advantage, a new website that brings together perks large and small in a quick, searchable format.

Whether you’re looking for discounts on airport parking, child care and fitness centers or want information on traditional benefits such as health plans and retirement, CU Advantage puts it all at your fingertips.

“The CU Advantage is designed to make CU’s benefits and perks easier to discover, understand and use,” said RyAnne Scott, director of communications and outreach for Employee Services. “In creating the site, we aimed to empower faculty and staff to take advantage of all the resources available to them.”

Navigate CU Advantage

Navigating CU Advantage is easy. Whether you’re searching for a specific perk or just browsing to see what’s available, finding the benefits and perks you need (and the ones you never knew about) is simple.

The site’s main search bar allows you to combine search factors such as keyword, CU campus and nine categories —  Featured Perks; Arts & Attractions; Benefits & Wellness; Discounts; Kids & Family; Professional Growth & Training; and Transportation & Travel.

Narrowing your search by selecting your campus is especially helpful, as some perks are campus-specific.

If you would like to navigate the site in your preferred language, clicking the globe icon in the top right corner opens a translation feature and lets you choose from English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Korean, Lao or Nepali.

Something missing? Let us know

In preparing the CU Advantage, Employee Services collected details on perks and benefits across CU. That said, if something is missing, we want to know.

Every page features a way to tell us about additional perks — existing perks we missed and ideas for desired perks. Send details using the Suggest a Perk form.

Employee Services staff will vet submissions with the campus or department that administers them then add them to the site.

Share your feedback — and win!

Employee Services wants to know about your experiences using CU Advantage items – so much so we’re offering a little perk for your time. Each month through 2023, Employee Services will select an employee who has submitted feedback on using a CU Advantage perk to receive $50 in their next paycheck.

This feedback will help your fellow faculty and staff identify discounts and services that will best serve them, and any feedback to improve perks — or the instructions for using them — is welcome. Share your positive experiences, suggestions for improvement or challenges you encountered making use of a benefit or perk by using the site’s feedback form.

This contest will begin in March, so send us your feedback this month to be eligible for the first drawing in early April.
