CU Anschutz development sends periodic email communications to grateful patients as a component of their ongoing fundraising efforts. This document summarizes how these contacts are identified and shared in CRM03, how they are processed against existing data, and how their contact records are managed following the email send. Additionally, it documents questions we may want to consider as we develop a path forward for ensuring proper handling of confidential information.
There are two ways to send emails through Marketing Cloud, Guided Send and Salesforce Send Emails. Guided Send has a sleeker interface but Salesforce Send Emails can be reused bringing efficiency and minimizing room for error.
