Employee benefits orientation courses move to Skillsoft Percipio July 1
Beginning July 1, employee benefits orientation courses will be available through Skillsoft Percipio, the University of Colorado's learning platform for professional development and training.
This transition will make it easier for employees to access benefits-related learning alongside other training resources in a single location. Employees can log in to Percipio through the employee portal and search for benefits courses by title or topic.
New employees will be able to find a medical plan toolkit course that details how the medical plans work, compares the plans and offers helpful insight when selecting a new medical plan. Additional courses cover new-hire basics, pretax savings, dental coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, mandatory retirement plan placement, and the tuition assistance benefit. All courses are also available in Spanish.
Moving these courses to Percipio allows departments to assign benefits courses to new employees as part of their onboarding. The platform can send reminders and help supervisors track completion, ensuring employees are informed about their benefit elections and understand their pay and benefits during their first week of employment.
If you plan to complete benefits training soon, be sure to access the courses through Percipio after July 1.
