Tuition benefit deadlines: We are no longer accepting applications for the Spring 2018 Tuition Benefit. We will re-open the application process for Summer 2018 Tuition Benefit mid-May. Check our website for further details.

Ready to use this benefit? 

To use the tuition waiver benefit, there are some specific steps you need to take. 

  1. Check your eligibility. You must be:
    • In a 50% or greater regular (non-temporary) position.
    • In an eligible job code.
    • In an effective benefit period (eligibility begins the 1st of month following date of hire unless hired on the 1st).
  2. Apply for the benefit by the enrollment deadlines:

Please note: Deadlines will be strictly adhered to.

Once the application is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt. Employee Services (ES) will verify your eligibility. If you are eligible, ES will forward your application to the appropriate campus Registrar’s office to determine course eligibility. You will be notified by the Registrar’s office that your courses are approved or denied. If your courses have been denied, you may drop the classes via your portal or the Registrar’s office. If your course has been approved, your application is sent to the Bursar’s office for waiver of tuition. All changes will be reflected in the portal.
