As a classified staff member, you'll experience the most notable changes this Open Enrollment.
Switch from State of Colorado plans to CU Health Plans
You may now choose among only CU Health Plans. This means the State of Colorado plans you currently have will no longer be available to you.
You're eligible to enroll in the following benefits plans:
You have three medical plan options.
- CU Health Plan - Exclusive (administered by Anthem)
- CU Health Plan - High Deductible (administered by Anthem)
- CU Health Plan - Kaiser
Choose between two kinds of dental plans.
- Delta Dental's Exclusive Provider Option
- Delta Dental's Preferred Provider Option
Increase your eye care coverage with Blue View Vision, which provides coverage for eye exams, and the purchase of glasses and contact lenses every 24 months. By enrolling, you commit to a two-year membership in the plan.
You're now eligible to participate in CU's three life insurance options.
- Basic term life insurance
- Optional life insurance
- Voluntary accidental death and dismemberment insurance
You may enroll in CU's long-term disability coverage, administered by Standard Insurance Co.
You may set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for things your health plan doesn't cover by opening a health care flexible savings account through ASIFlex. Similarly, you may also open a dependent care flexible spending account to pay for such uncovered dependent care costs as childcare.
