The PSC was recently informed that Colorado Correctional Industries (CCi) is no longer accepting new orders for furniture. CCi will complete any orders that are already in place, including projects. Once those active CCi purchases and/or projects are complete, CCi will shut down their furniture operations. Knowing this announcement may impact many departments across the University, below is some important information:

• To contact CCi directly to discuss a pending order, project status, or product return, please contact Chris Brown at: Chrism.brown@state.co.us
• While orders can no longer be placed with CCi through their Marketplace catalog, current and future invoices and payments will continue to be processed through the Marketplace
• Warranty information –  CCi will no longer be providing warranty service or onsite repairs

• For KI warranty claims, please contact Canter and Associates
• For Allsteel warranty claims, please contact Interior Environments
• For all other warranty claims, please contact the manufacturer directly

For future furniture purchases, please use one of the University’s five contracted furniture suppliers – BC Interiors, Canter & Associates, Interior Environments, OfficeScapes, or Workplace Resource. Each supplier has a catalog in CU Marketplace. More information on these suppliers can be found on the PSC website: https://www.cu.edu/psc/procurement/how-buy-furniture. Most of the brands the University has historically purchased from CCi are available through one or more of these suppliers.
