New Partnership Expands Economic Impact While Maintaining Access to Fisher Scientific Products

The Procurement Service Center (PSC) is preparing to launch a new purchasing model that supports the University of Colorado's ongoing efforts to support small businesses and strengthen local economic impact while maintaining access to the products and services campus customers rely on every day. Beginning December 1, 2026, purchases through the Fisher Scientific catalog in CU Marketplace will incorporate a partnership with Anna Snow LLC. This new model allows the university to continue leveraging Fisher Scientific's extensive product portfolio while creating opportunities for a Colorado-based business partner.

For most campus users, the shopping experience will remain familiar. Customers will continue to access the same Fisher Scientific catalog through CU Marketplace and purchase the same products they use today. As part of this transition, certain purchases that previously flowed exclusively through Fisher Scientific may now also involve Anna Snow LLC in the procurement process.

What Will Users Notice?

While the Fisher Scientific catalog and shopping experience will remain familiar, users may notice a few changes behind the scenes:

  • A single Fisher Scientific requisition may generate multiple purchase orders and result in multiple invoices.
  • Anna Snow LLC may appear on purchase orders, invoices, and other order-related communications.
  • Certain orders may use split-cart functionality, resulting in products being processed through different fulfillment paths.
  • Questions related to invoicing or credits may involve Anna Snow LLC for some purchases.

The PSC has been working closely with Fisher Scientific and Anna Snow LLC to ensure a smooth transition and provide support throughout the implementation.

Preparing for Go-Live

To help campus users understand the new process, PSC will provide a training webinar and support resources before launch.

A live webinar will be held on November 11 at 1:00 PM to provide an overview of the program, explain key workflow changes, and answer user questions.

Register for the webinar here.

For those unable to attend, the webinar recording will be posted to the PSC website along with supporting materials.

Additional resources will include:

  • Webinar slide deck
  • Training video
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
  • Knowledge Base article

These materials will provide users with a centralized location to learn about the new supplier partnership and access reference materials before and after go-live.

Looking Ahead

Additional training resources, FAQs, and supporting materials will be made available as the December 1 go-live date approaches.

Users who regularly purchase through Fisher Scientific are encouraged to review the available materials and attend the webinar to become familiar with the new workflow.
