CU: Accounting Overview Recommended to anyone new to the financial systems of the university. This 15-minute course covers fund accounting at a very high level. This includes the most common fund types we use at CU, the sources and uses of the money in these different funds, and some of the restrictions on the use of these funds based on the source.

Each system is specialized and necessary, yet not sufficient on its own to fulfill our stewardship obligations. The business ecosystem created by these tools enables all CU campuses to track, manage, and operate in a consistent manner as well as comply with policies, procedures, and regulations that may be imposed on any given dollar.
