The University of Colorado is transitioning to PageUp, a modern applicant tracking system (ATS) that will replace Taleo for CU System, CU Anschutz, CU Denver and UCCS. CU Boulder is not moving to PageUp. CU Boulder does not currently use Taleo and will continue using its existing recruiting system.
The new system will support recruiting and hiring across participating CU campuses while accommodating campus-specific processes and maintaining systemwide consistency and compliance.
The target go-live is summer 2027. The project team is continuing to work through configuration, testing, integrations, data migration, training and readiness activities before the final go-live date is confirmed.

Why is CU making the change?
PageUp will:
- Streamline recruiting processes for recruiters and hiring teams.
- Provide a more modern experience for job applicants.
- Support CU’s compliance and evolving recruiting needs better.
What does this mean for CU employees?
Most CU employees will have little or no direct impact from the change. Employees who regularly participate in recruiting, write position descriptions or manage hiring processes will receive more extensive information, training and support.
Hiring managers, supervisors and employees who occasionally participate in searches will receive guidance and step-by-step resources when they need to complete recruiting tasks.
Employees who currently receive Taleo job alerts for CU openings will need to create new job alerts in PageUp after the new system launches. Existing Taleo job alerts will not transfer to PageUp.
Past application materials also will not transfer to PageUp.
How to prepare
You do not need to act yet unless the project team or your campus HR team contacts you directly.
Training, step-by-step guides and other resources will be added to this page as they become available for talent recruitment teams, HR professionals and hiring managers.
All employees will receive instructions for creating new alerts in PageUp when it is live.
What's happening now?
The PageUp project is currently in the configuration and development phase.
The project team is working iteratively on system design, configuration, development, integrations and testing. Work is being completed in partnership with CU System, CU Anschutz, CU Denver and UCCS to ensure PageUp supports both shared university requirements and campus-specific business processes.
The project team is also preparing for initial user acceptance testing and the later phases of data migration, end-to-end testing, training and readiness.
