The PSC Payment Services team is currently preparing to release 1099s for certain reportable payments made by CU in 2025. These forms will be mailed to eligible payees in the last week of January 2026.

In general, CU is required to issue a 1099 when reportable payments total $600 or more during the calendar year 2025. However, there are many different types of 1099 forms for various payment categories, as well as exceptions to the $600 threshold, so situations will vary.

If a payee is expecting a 1099 from CU and has not received it by February 16, please reach out to PSC@cu.edu with the full name and address of the payee to request assistance obtaining a copy. Other 1099-related questions can also be sent to PSC@cu.edu.
