You can learn a lot about the Cognos Reporting System during our next day of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) at 1800 Grant St.
Thank you – all 250+ of you – for your time, your interest, and your feedback at the OUC Town Hall sessions this month. We always enjoy hearing what you think and working together on ways to make all of our work processes better.
A great way to begin the month of October: OUC and department staff exchanged information and questions at Town Hall sessions in Colorado Springs and Denver.
Yes, you can still register for an OUC Town Hall on campus in October.
OUC Town Hall sessions offer a fun and personal way for you to stay up to date on OUC initiatives and changes … and us to stay centered on your needs and concerns.
Current services. New initiatives. These are among the ways that the OUC can help you with your fiscal responsibilities and personal/professional development.
The popular m-Fin Blog – dedicated to all things related to our Cognos management financial reports – has set up house in the new Controller website.
It’s back:Your guide to FYE do’s and dates. Handily separated out by topic and timeframe, the InfoPacket provides processing details for assuring appropriate payment or accrual to FY 2014. New this year: expanded detail on what you should expect to see on your financial statements.
"Works great!" "Showed up beautifully!" "Very, very helpful!" The above statements reflect the enthusiastic reviews of actual report users at CU. They’re talking about the new m-Fin RECEIVABLES TRANSACTION FINDER. This new report assists in tracking down a project sponsor payment that might have been booked on the wrong FOPPS. Identify the specific payment amount you’re looking for … or identify the specific sponsor and look at all projects for that sponsor. Either way, you’ll get a simple list report that can help you figure out what happened.
The Cognos Reporting System is a fast-moving financial reporting tool. How do you keep up with OUC staff members Carl Sorenson and Sarju Khadka ... and their continuous Cognos improvements (enhancements to existing reports and development of new reports)?
