Engaging YOU in Elevate: FIN Upgrade

Are you a user of the PeopleSoft Finance System (for example - prepare budget or journal entries)? Do you run financial reports (in any system)? If you answered Yes to either question, then we’re talking to YOU.

The PeopleSoft Finance System upgrade is underway, with a go-live date of November 2015. That may sound far in the future, but there are plenty of opportunities – and there is plenty of need! – for you to get involved right away. We at the Office of University Controller (OUC) are committed to providing you with the information you need, at the time that you need it, via the method that you prefer to get it. Our OUC News blog will be one of our primary communication mechanisms to spread the word.

So here are 3 easy ways you can get engaged:

  1. Sign up for our blog. When you do, you will get emails directly to your inbox on all OUC activities, including how to register for our October 2014 Town Halls and what’s happening in the Upgrade project.
  2. Read our “Recent News from the Office of University Controller (OUC)” user alert emails. We pull together our blog posts every other week or so and send them out via a User Alert. This is an easy way to get caught up on any blog posts you haven’t read at initial publication. So if you’re not already receiving these emails, get yourself on the User Alert list by sending a request to uis@cu.edu.
  3. Keep an eye on our FIN Upgrade website. We’re redesigning it to bring in comprehensive content on customization and other decisions, campus meetings, walk-through sessions, and FIN 9.2 feature discussions.

We look forward to working with you to improve our Finance System and related business processes.
