Fall into CPE: Autumn Courses in Several Locations

Fall into some good habits this fall with free professional development -- on your campus, or on your desktop.

We’ve opened registration for several courses in October-November 2019:

  • What Makes an Effective Leader? -- Learn how to draw on personal strengths to address a variety of challenges. This group-live course (new as of spring 2019!) is available at the Denver, Anschutz, Boulder, and Colorado Springs campuses in October/November. Participants will need to bring a laptop/mobile device in order to complete an in-class exercise.
  • Process Mapping for Efficiency and Cross-Training -- Delve into a team-based method for identifying, integrating, and diagramming processes between departments and individuals. This live webinar offers engaging instruction direct to your desktop in October. CPAs will need to answer all 3 poll questions presented during the webinar in order to request CPE credit.
  • Understanding University Tax Liabilities: Tax Exempt Status & Sales Tax, Unrelated Business Income Tax & Handling Sponsorship Activities -- Find out when CU has a tax liability, and how to pay it. This group-live course is available at the Denver, Anschutz, Boulder, and Colorado Springs campuses in October/November. At department request, we've expanded course time from 50 to 75 minutes in order to provide more information/discussion on sponsorships and other items.
