OUC Staff Certifications
Kudos to OUC staff members Heather Hoyer and Lisa Vallad, both of whom will achieve CPLP designation effective May 1. Developed by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the CPLP certification denotes a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance. The designation is achieved after considerable study, passing of a comprehensive test, and submission of a real-world work product. Heather is our Procurement Training Specialist and Forms Developer. Lisa is our CPE Program Manager and Finance Training Specialist. They join FinPro Help Desk Manager Leslie Nittoli in recently acquiring professional certifications. Last year, Leslie became an HDI-certified Support Center Manager. (HDI is the professional association and certification body for the technical service and support industry.) The Support Center Manager designation requires successful completion of multi-area course work and an exam. Congratulations to all three!
