The OUC is pleased to introduce Accounting Analyst Jacob Malson. Our newest team member joined the Accounting Services section earlier this summer.

As part of his new position, Jacob is responsible for managing capital assets for CU System Administration; helping create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and year-end exhibits/schedules; and assisting with the annual external audit.

A Colorado native and lifelong resident, Jacob graduated from CU – Boulder with a BS in Accounting.  He has five years’ experience working at that campus in Housing and Dining Services, where he served as a financial and accounting analyst. His credentials include considerable expertise in process and compliance.

Jacob is working towards licensure as a CPA … so he’s impressed and happy with the OUC’s Continuing Professional Education for Certified Public Accountants (CPE for CPAs) Program. The program offers no-cost credit to University CPAs and other professionals.
