CPE Planning Underway for FY 2014

Attention CU employees: Are you a CPA, CFE, or CIA who’s looking for interesting, relevant continuing education? Or … Are you someone without those initials after your name who’s looking for interesting, relevant professional development? Did you know you can earn – and learn – for free? The OUC’s CPE for CPAs (Continuing Professional Education for Certified Public Accountants) Program helps you earn CPE credit while you learn how to do your job better. Course topics range from Ethics to Cognos Financial Reporting to Microsoft Office product use … and so much more. Give us your time and attention, and we’ll give you educational and networking opportunities “… better than any other course I’ve had” (quote from a past participant). We’re developing our CPE offerings for FY 2014, with up to 40 courses scheduled over 10-12 days (2-3 days each quarter). If you’re a CPA (/CFE/CIA), you’ll want to be sure you’re on our email list: just write to CPE Program Manager Lisa Vallad at cu.cpe@cu.edu. Later this month, we’ll publish a list of FY 2014 dates to save. Later this summer, we’ll post the complete year’s course schedule.
