NOTICE OF REGENT LAWS AND POLICIES UNDER REVIEW
The Office of Policy and Efficiency (OPE) has posted an updated draft and/or justification memo on the Regent Laws and Policies Review Website for policies which are scheduled for 2nd discussion and 1st discussion by the Regent Governance Committee on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
The Board of Regents completed the scheduled review of and approved revisions or approved recommendations of no changes to the following laws and policies on September 10, 2026:
- Article 3, Part A: Officers (No changes)
- Article 3, Part B: Officers of the University (No changes)
- Policy 3.A: Definitions of Officers of the University (No changes)
- Policy 11.E: Leave Policies for Employees (Revision)
- Article 2, Part D: Regents Awards (No changes)
- Policy 2.D: Regent Awards (Revision)
Regents approve revisions to Policy 3.E: Searches for Administrators and Guidelines for the Appointment of Chief Officers of the University and renumbered to Policy 3.C
Regents approve new Policy 13.I: Contracting Authority and Regent Notification and amendments to the related Policy 3.A.
