Each year, CU demonstrates leadership in higher education technologies through sharing knowledge and best practices at industry conferences. In July 2016, Jill Ibeck, UIS Director, HCM Systems, Rana Silver, UIS Application Manager, Campus Solutions Students Records and Sally Page, Senior Associate Registrar, CU Boulder, presented at Oracle’s Southwest Regional User Group (SWHEUG) to spread knowledge, best practices and further the university’s reputation in the field.
New functionality to provide secure access to student-authorized information is now available via social authentication at all four CU campuses. FERPA Consent to Release forms were also automated. Learn more about these exciting new features for students!
On July 19, 2016, UIS will roll out a desktop application to System Administration employees that will protect files stored locally on Windows and Mac workstations. Called CrashPlan Pro, the application will back files up to the cloud and allow employees to self-restore files lost or corrupted files. Learn more about this new service.
