We are not able to exclude content from CU-Data's search results and this is hindering its usefulness.

Content that end users are moving over from the old Cognos system can show up in search results.  The technical team is exploring ways we might be able to prevent this.  Until then my advice is to avoid using the search.  We might temporarily disable it.  I will post comments to this blog post as work to address this issue progresses.
