Aron Sage has joined UIS as a BI Analyst. His main focus is to support and enhance the university's reporting and analytics on the Data and Business Intelligence team. The Business Intelligence Analyst is a customer-centric position focused on collaborating and advising report developers, communicating the roll-out of enhancements, end-user adoption, and continued successes of the Cognos deliverables. 

Kerry Colborn has joined UIS as a Sr. ETL Developer on the Data and Business Intelligence team. Kerry acts as a key member of the ETL Team and works to support the university’s data warehouse, data integrations, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Some of his responsibilities in this role include ETL development, testing, documentation, and 3rd tier support with data sources such as CU’s Student, HCM and SalesForce CRM systems.

Simba is UIS’ newest ETL Developer on the Data and Business Intelligence team. In his role, Simba acts as a member of the ETL Team and works to support the university’s data warehouse, data integrations, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Some of his responsibilities include ETL development, testing, documentation, and third tier support with data sources such as CU’s Student, HCM and SalesForce CRM systems.

Praveen has joined UIS as a Security Application Developer on the Identity and Access Management team. His role provides first-line technical support, development, and assistance with implementation in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Services. Praveen serves as a technical resource in collaboration with other IAM Technical Leads in the configuration, upgrade, and day to day management of a variety of applications and middleware technologies.

Elizabeth has joined UIS as a BI Report Developer on the Data and Business Intelligence team. Elizabeth is focused on collaborating with and advising report developers, developing reports for internal UIS customers, communicating the roll-out of enhancements, and end-user adoption and continued successes of the Cognos deliverables. She delivers ongoing end-user support, maintains a solid BI architecture tool, and provides customer guidance on BI best practices as a member of a smaller Business Intelligence team.

Kelly has joined UIS’ eRA team as an Application Manager for Compliance. Kelly is responsible for the implementation of Electronic Research Administration (eRA) software and continued support of the eRA system for Research Compliance activities at all CU campuses. Some of the key compliance activities supported on campus include, but are not limited to, Human subjects protocol development, Human subjects IRB management, Conflict of Interest (COI) tracking and COI cycle Management.

Robert has joined UIS as an eRA Application Manager on the eRA team. His position exists for the implementation of Electronic Research Administration (eRA) software and continued support of the eRA system for Pre-Award Research Administration activities at all CU campuses. Some key Pre-Award activities supported on campus include Proposal Development, Proposal Tracking, Award Acceptance, Award Setup, Contract Negotiations, Modifications, and Pre-Award Management.

Hugo has joined UIS’ Infrastructure team as a Systems Administrator. His work includes the planning, implementation, administration, and operational support of the university's enterprise infrastructure. This work includes daily issue resolution, regular maintenance work, advisement and contribution to project initiatives as part of the infrastructure team, participating in the definition, implementation, and support of best practices used by the team with a focus on continual improvement. 

Craig has joined UIS as a Student Service Desk Technician. In his role, he will provide desktop support to System Administration staff. This includes endpoint support (workstations, printers, and office phones), hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, and meeting set up to include configuration of audiovisual equipment (projectors and conference phones). 

After working as a Quality Assurance Coordinator Intern, Manali has joined UIS full time as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Manali assists in the development and implementation of quality test scripts and documentation in compliance with the overall QA Methodology for UIS student administration systems including portal and mobile delivery. She will work in collaboration with the QA team, student administration team, and UIS management to ensure that developed services have been tested thoroughly and meet the required deliverables and quality standards.

Sharon has taken a new position with the HCM IT Services team as the HR/GL Application Manager. She will be responsible for technical and functional oversight of the HR-GL and all HR-GL related components of the HCM System. She will work closely with HR-GL Campus Stakeholder groups, Chief Human Resource Officers, Employee Services Leadership and Staff, other module Application Managers, and the OUC (Office of University Controllers) to align institutional business requirements with functional capabilities within the HCM system.

Renato has accepted the position of Associate Director of PeopleSoft Development within UIS. In his new role, he will be responsible for the Portal, Campus Solutions, Finance, and HCM development teams and will drive strategic development planning for PeopleSoft Development. He will ensure projects are meeting deadlines, budgetary requirements, and user needs. Additionally, he will manage four direct reports, and will be responsible for all training, personnel, and recruitment actions necessary.

Toby has accepted the position of Assistant Director of Identity Management within UIS. In his new role, he will supervise all aspects of Identity Management and Provisioning activities. This includes technical, project/program management for Identity-related initiatives, as well as functional management of the Identity and Access Services group. The Assistant Director of Identity Management oversees a team of six direct reports.

Alicia Pickell has accepted a position within UIS as an Executive Assistant. She will be responsible for a broad range of executive-level administrative duties in support of the CIO and Senior Leadership for University Information Services. The executive assistant position works in a team-oriented environment interacting with UIS staff, System Administration, and cross-campus executive assistants.
