Karthik Chigururu, Senior Lead Oracle Database Administrator on UIS’s Enterprise Cloud Services Oracle Team, was the System Administration employee selected to receive the Staff Council 2016 Service Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the university. Karthik has been with UIS since 2011, earning a promotion to his current lead role based on his knowledge, dedication and amazing work ethic.
