Darlene Crow, lead solutions manager at UIS, and the CU-SIS team received the CollegeSource Sourcie Award for Exceptional Implementation for the successful implementation of uAchieve 5.2.1.
“[UIS] teams worked closely with CollegeSource to deliver enhanced degree capabilities for students across the system,” said CollegeSource in its announcement.
The uAchieve Degree Audit upgrade, completed Nov. 15, 2025, introduced new accessibility enhancements and responsive design user interfaces to the degree audit software. This included the 5.2.1 planner solution and integration with the Transfer Evaluation System (TES). The University of Colorado became the first on-premise uAchieve institution to successfully implement the planner solution.
UIS team members recognized in this effort include Darlene Crow, Art Figel, Brian Schaffer, Siva Jaligama, Yuki Busch, Ben Saleh, Timothy Thomas, Om Tandukar, Heather Tasca, Sharon Bychowski Price, Jean Navarro, Manali Agrawal and Doug Douglass.
“A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and outstanding work in delivering a successful upgrade. This recognition reflects the exceptional talent, collaboration and commitment of the UIS and campus Degree Audit and Transfer Credit teams,” said Crow. “Their collective efforts exemplify excellence in service and reflect the unwavering support of our campuses and the students we serve.”
The CollegeSource annual Sourcie Awards recognize higher education institutions and professionals who leverage CollegeSource solutions to remove barriers, strengthen transfer pathways and improve access to educational opportunities. Read the CollegeSource press release.
