We deliver information technology solutions and services to advance the University of Colorado's mission in collaboration with CU’s four campuses and System Administration.

CU Data Center Move: Noon Oct 6 to 8 a.m. Oct 9

The University of Colorado will relocate its enterprise servers to a new, modern facility on the Anschutz Medical Campus starting at noon Friday, Oct. 6 and finishing by 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9.

This critical project, managed by UIS in collaboration with campus partners, requires moving and setting up more than 11 tons of equipment. The task’s enormity requires a cold cutover, meaning all system applications will be unavailable for the three-day implementation window. During the implementation window, UIS will focus solely on the data center with no upgrades or routine maintenance happening.
