University of Colorado Spreads Proven Practices to InfoEd Users at the 2015 User Group Meeting

See who is attending from CU!

CU is a proven leader and strategic partner with many of our technology vendors. InfoEd, the provider of our electronic Research Administration (eRA) applications, attracts approximately 250 practitioners to their annual User Group Meeting (UGM). In 2015, CU is sending ten research administration employees from CU-Boulder, CU Denver and System Administration to participate in and present at UGM.

UGM presentations and panels are a collaborative effort between InfoEd clients and the vendor. CU presentations are generally given in conjunction with practitioners from other national higher education institutions like Temple University, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University.

In 2015, CU is participating in 11 sessions out of a total of 82. These include presentations, panels and a poster session. University Information Systems (UIS) is participating in six of these sessions, with campus research administration staff rounding out the remaining five. Learn more about CU's offerings.

Jordan Wight, UIS eRA Technical Lead, is participating in four sessions focused on configuring the out-of-the box functionality of InfoEd applications and the tips, tricks and practices CU has learned in our many years of working with the suite of tools. Marina Durbin, UIS eRA QA and Release Manager, is showing practitioners and application testers how to save hands-on time with the required client testing work by sharing her test script that automates the rote tasks involved in testing. The automation not only saves client sites time, but also increases the quality of InfoEd applications by enabling more client institutions to participate in the testing process.
