Overview:

CU’s Secure File Transfer Program (SFTP) is used by customers to upload files for batch processing and to provide short-term storage to aid in collaboration between staff and vendors. 

Benefits: Some of the benefits of SFTP include:

  • 24/7 file transfer services capabilities
  • Centralized location for short-term file storage
  • Secure file transfer for campuses, customers (Finance, HRMS, UC4, CIW/Cognos, Campus Solutions, DATC) and vendors
  • Validates and authorizes files uploaded for batch processing and storage

Who is eligible to use the service: Any CU staff member or vendor with a need to upload or download files to the university via SFTP.

How to request access to the service: Refer to the Access website to request access to SFTP. (Note: Must be on a CU network to access this restricted website.)

Alias Information / Service History: SFTP or Secure FTP. Used to be called Dilbert.

Service Hours: Outside of normal UIS Service Desk operating hours of Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
