HCM, CU Careers are now live
Vice President of Employee and Information Services Kathy Nesbitt and Associate Vice President, Budget and Finance Geoff Barsch released the following announcement regarding the debut of the HCM and CU Careers systems.
We are delighted to announce that the upgraded Human Capital Management (HCM) and CU Careers systems are now live. You can now use HCM as well as post jobs in preparation for CU Careers' public debut at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Links to both can be found under Business Tools in the CU Resources section of the employee portal.
This release culminates a two-year collaboration between University of Colorado campuses and CU System. Together, we’ve analyzed our systems and business processes, developed new and more advanced systems, tested them, provided feedback and presented training.
These new systems will refresh and revamp nearly every touch point in the employee life cycle: How we recruit and hire, how we onboard employees, manage employee data, track time and leave, pay employees, evaluate performance, run reports and much more.
While we are all excited about these new systems, we understand that upgrades can come with certain hurdles – both in learning how to use the systems and ensuring they are performing optimally.
We are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for you. The items below will be of assistance as you navigate the new systems.
Elevate help page
You’ll find a single page with all the information you need on HCM, CU Careers and FIN at www.cu.edu/elevate/help.The help page contains:
- a log of known system issues and how we are working to correct them,
- links to HCM and CU Careers training in SkillSoft,
- details on who to call or email for help,
- a form to report problems or give feedback, and
- the latest updates from our HCM Community blog
We’ve also created a dedicated website for you, called HCM Community. Modeled on the employee life cycle, the site pairs university policy with step-by-step guides and forms to help you more easily accomplish tasks in the new systems.
Over the coming weeks, we will release regular blog postings and emails to keep you informed about systems and their performance. We appreciate your feedback, understanding and participation during the transition. Together, we are raising the bar on how CU does business.
