Ever searched the OUC website and come up empty? That's about to change. Following up on last week's article, “Finding Financial Guidance Is About to Get a Lot Easier: New OUC Knowledge Management System,” we're back with a first look at what the new knowledge base will actually look like — and how you'll navigate it.
Two ways to find what you need
The new knowledge home page will offer two straightforward paths to information:
- A search bar for when you know what you're looking for — type in something like "schedule reports" and go straight to the answer
- Topic-based navigation for when you want to explore — browse by subject area, like “Tax,” and see all related guidance in one place
Nine familiar topic areas, built around your work
We're organizing content into nine areas that reflect the guidance the OUC and FSS Help team (FSS@cu.edu) have provided for years:
- Tax
- Policies
- Forms
- Finance System
- m-Fin/CU-Data
- Access
- Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
- Communications
- ePERS/Fiscal Certification
This structure is designed to help you quickly connect with the information you need, whether you’re searching for a specific answer or exploring a broader topic.
We want your input
We're still building — which means now is the perfect time to tell us what you want to see. Questions about the new system, or want to help shape what gets built first? Contact Learning Design Program Director Kristina Mendez at FSS@cu.edu.
More updates are coming soon: stay tuned for a closer look at how this new tool will support your work.
