Accounting Services - Financial Reporting Accountant

As part of the Accounting Services Team, David is responsible for supporting the University’s mission by providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to the University’s fiscal employees while adhering to the requirements of University, state, and federal laws, rules, and procedures.

Some of his main responsibilities are ensuring an accurate feed to the Colorado Operating Resource Engine (CORE), and reconciling between PeopleSoft and various bank accounts, helping maintain the chartfields, and assisting with year-end close and the annual audit.

• Questions on Accounts, SpeedTypes, Programs, and other chartfield requests and  set-ups
• Questions related to CORE, i.e. the monthly feed, manual entries, reports and CORE access
• Questions about disbursement accounts

• Completed various accounting and business classes from Red Rocks Community College
• Joined the Office of University Controller as a student in June of 2003
