Among the highlights of Fiscal Year 2019:
- In partnership with Employee Services, our Payroll/Benefit Accounting team launched an initiative to manage work-study stale-dated checks – helping the campuses comply with federal work-study regulations.
- PBA and ES streamlined the reissue of payroll checks/direct deposit payments that are rejected due to incorrect account information -- now only reissuing net pay rather than adjusting the actual payroll/wage: this delivers better service to employees while creating efficiencies with payroll reporting.
- Our staff members were invited to serve on committees for NACUBO, HEUG, HDI, and COLTT.
- Across the OUC, team members shared CU stories with national and international audiences through peer-reviewed conference presentations.
