Procurement Learning Specialist & Forms Developer Finance & Procurement Business Services (FPBS)
Heather is responsible for most of the Procurement Service Center's (PSC) learning resources. This includes:
- Instructional materials – such as step-by-step guides, quick reference guides, and videos – on CU Marketplace, Concur Travel & Expense, and Travel
- Online (SkillSoft) procurement and travel courses
- Large-group in-person training sessions (for one-on-one assistance, please contact the Finance & Procurement Help Desk at 303.837.2161)
* What does CPLP mean?
CPLP means that Heather is a Certified Professional in Learning & Performance – in other words, that she has an overall understanding of training and development and that she can apply this knowledge in the workplace. It was issued by the Association for Talent Development (formerly known as American Society for Training & Development), the world’s largest training and development association.

Little Tidbits About Heather
- She's Mad! - Well, a Mad Scientist anyway! She helped elementary-age kids get excited about science with fun experiments.
- Desserts before dinner - That way she doesn't miss out on her favorite part of the meal.
- Pool, anyone? - Billiards is a family sport in her house. Everyone shoots in pool leagues each week – ¦including her two kids.
- Who loves math? - Heather does! She received her Bachelor's of Science in General Mathematics, with an emphasis in Education, from Metropolitan State University
