The purpose of the It’s Accrual World course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of accruals and why they are necessary, especially in the context of fiscal year-end processing.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Define accruals;
  • Explain the automated accrual process and the manual accrual process -- and how each process is used; and,
  • Explain when/why both accrual processes are necessary, especially during fiscal year-end activities.
