Accounting Services – Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

As part of the Accounting Services Team, Wendy is responsible for supporting the University’s mission by providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to the University’s fiscal employees while adhering to the requirements of University, state, and federal laws, rules, and procedures.

Some of her main responsibilities include creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; feeding to CORE and running the related extracts; reconciling various disbursement bank accounts; preparing year-end exhibits/schedules; and assisting with the annual audit.

Facts

• Originally from Indiana but has been in Denver for over 20 years
• Joined the OUC in March 2023 after working with the Colorado Department of Natural Resources for 4 years
