Jana Banchetti

Accounting Services – Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

As part of the Accounting Services Team, Jana is responsible for supporting the University’s mission by providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to the University’s fiscal employees while adhering to the requirements of University, state, and federal laws, rules, and procedures.

Some of her main responsibilities include creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; preparing year-end exhibits/schedules; and assisting with the annual audit.

• Questions on Capital Asset policies and procedures for System Administration
• Questions on state revenue from COF, FFS, work study, scholarships, etc.
• Questions about the monthly data tables, financials, and account code roll-up

• Graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Colorado Denver
• A Colorado Native
• Joined the OUC in May 2022 after working at the Anschutz Medical Campus for 5 years
