UIS Service Maintenance for eRA InfoEd Upgrade from Nov. 22-25

Description: The Electronic Research Administration (eRA) system will be unavailable from 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 to 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to upgrade InfoEd, an electronic research portal system, used to manage the research lifecycle.

The newest version adds many enhancements and advantages that will:

  • Modernize the interface in all modules
  • Enhance routing features including eForms as tabs, more rich text editing options and progressive text search
  • Improve the disclosure process for the Conflict of Interest (COI) and streamline usability in the Human Subject (HS) module
  • Introduction of the ENABLE portal with new features to improve user experience
  • Add new filtering and sorting options
  • Update to the current release version and fix several bugs

Timing: 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 through 8:00 a.m. Monday, Nov 25

Impact: All production services will be unavailable throughout the maintenance window.
