Purpose

Compensation Philosophy and Guidelines

Several major changes are outlined below that will be in effect with the release of these guidelines, but the full philosophy can be found below.

  • Human Resources will partner with departments to complete an updated job description for all positions or current employee changes, and a compensation analysis will be completed based on market data.
  • Salary increases above certain thresholds and at certain job title levels will be subject to specific approvals.
  • All position changes must be reviewed and approved by the 10th of each month in order to be processed for the current month.
  • Any requests outside of the established compensation guidelines will be subject to approval by the Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff, Vice President for Administration, and the Vice President of Budget and Finance and CFO.
