CU President Mark Kennedy and Congressman Neguse Host a Community Breakfast at CU Denver

CU President Mark Kennedy and CU Denver Chancellor Dorothy Horrell hosted a community breakfast at CU Denver with Congressman Joe Neguse and leaders in the African American community. Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb, former State Representative and First Lady of Denver Wilma Webb, and current State Representative Janet Buckner (D-Aurora) were also in attendance. During the panel they were joined by local and state leaders to discuss important community priorities. The group discussed how to continue to work together on behalf of the African American community at CU and in Colorado on issues such as including more representation on campus and diverse mentorship of students.
