Colorado Rep. Neguse Visits JILA Laboratories at CU Boulder

Colorado Rep. Joe Neguse visited CU Boulder to tour the laboratories and learn more about the groundbreaking research taking place at JILA, CU Boulder’s joint research institute with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). CU President Todd Saliman, CU Boulder Chancellor Phil DiStefano, Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation Terri Fiez, JILA Chair Andreas Becker, and CUbit Quantum Initiative Director Phil Makotyn joined several JILA researchers and students during the December 2021 visit to showcase the history and future of the facilities, which have been on the CU Boulder campus since its founding in 1962. CU is advocating to expand and modernize JILA to maintain the university’s national leadership in physical and quantum sciences. Read more about the visit here.
