The 2019 Colorado Capital Conference was another great success. The conference, which was held June 18-20, was hosted by CU Denver Chancellor Dorothy Horrell along with our partners U.S. Senators Cory Gardner and Michael Bennet, Colorado Mesa University, and Colorado State University. Incoming CU President Mark Kennedy attended the opening reception on June 18. Attendees heard from a number of outstanding speakers including Steve Mnuchin, Secretary of the Treasury; Olivier Knox, Chief Washington Correspondent and host of "The Big Picture" on POTUS at Sirius XM; Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC); Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill) and crowd favorite, Charlie Cook, Political Analyst from The Cook Political Report. Participants went to a lecture at the United States Supreme Court and wrapped up the week with a guided tour of the National Memorials.
