ColoradoSPH Announces New Biostatistics & Informatics Chair
ColoradoSPH is pleased to announce the new chair of its Biostatistics & Informatics department, David Conti, MS, PhD.
Conti comes from the University of Southern California, where he was a professor and the associate director of Data Science Integration.
An overarching aim of his research is the investigation of diverse populations and the factors driving differences in disease incidence. His specific research covers both applied genetic and environmental epidemiology and statistical methods development, with a focus on integrated multi-omic data analysis and Bayesian approaches.
Conti earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stanford University, and his PhD from Case Western Reserve.
Having grown up in Colorado, Conti is looking forward to returning to the state and starting his role in January.
