CU Boulder announces plans for 150th anniversary in 2026

Preparations are underway for CU Boulder's 150th anniversary celebration in 2026, a milestone that will honor CU Boulder's legacy, engage the Boulder campus and broader communities and help set the stage as CU Boulder looks toward the future. A dedicated 150th steering committee has been working behind the scenes since 2024 to shape a yearlong celebration that will complement the state of Colorado's 150th anniversary celebrations and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
