UCCS AMP lab investigates muscle health across the lifespan

The Aging, Muscle, and Performance (AMP) Lab, founded by Assistant Professor Dustin Oranchuk, Ph.D., focuses on skeletal muscle function, quality and performance across the lifespan with emphasis on aging, clinical populations and applied neuromuscular physiology. Since the lab was founded in spring of 2026, the lab’s team has already hit the ground running, with several research projects underway.
