Build your mental health support skills with new training

UCCS recently introduced a new course designed to equip participants with practical skills to effectively engage with mental health concerns as they arise. According to an NCHA survey taken by UCCS students, compared to pre-pandemic years, UCCS has 69% more students who reported being diagnosed with anxiety, and those diagnosed with depression increased 61%. Knowing how to identify when someone is struggling and being familiar with the available resources is more important than ever.
