Lisa Suzanne Vallad, CPE Program Manager, reviewed CPE statistics, program success to date, and plans for FY2014. She commended the instructors for their continued high evaluations and noted that framed certificates of appreciation would be sent to them shortly.
When the University of Colorado-Boulder College of Arts & Sciences decided to migrate departments supported by Financial Service Centers (FSCs) to the newly introduced MyLeave time collection solution, the FSC recognized that quality training for employees charged with this function was vital to a successful implementation. Unfortunately, the first major training session was disrupted when the MyCU info website went down, resulting in hours of preparation/participation time being lost or poorly utilized.
At the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, the Laboratory Registration Program was implemented as a process whereby Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) could collect a variety of information about any area on campus where there are chemical or physical hazards (e.g., traditional research and teaching labs in science and engineering, photo labs, art studios, shops, theatre works).
Do you hate it when headers disappear on your financial reports? Just remember: You are in control!
For your Cognos financial reports, run in HTML, you can keep those column headers visible on screen while you scroll. All you need to do is right-click anywhere in the list. In the resulting pop-up box, select Freeze Column Headings.
