Tracy Gutierrez, Regional Program Manager in Southern Colorado
Tracy Gutierrez has worked professionally throughout southern Colorado for over 25 years. She was the Director of Alumni and Community Relations at Colorado State University Pueblo for 15 years and planned over 45 special events each year in addition to leading alumni engagement efforts to impact involvement with the University. She built homecoming festivities from two weekend events to six days of festivities with 20 various events to engage alumni, students and the entire community with campus.

She also led all community relations efforts which included the University’s representation at all community events such as the Colorado State Fair, Chamber of Commerce functions and maintained visibility for the University throughout the region.

For the past three years, Tracy worked in regional economic development serving as the Senior Program Manager at Southern Colorado Economic Development District. This organization serves 13 counties throughout southern Colorado in support of economic development projects and community engagement efforts. During her tenure in economic development, she was selected to participate in the National Association of Development Organization’s Emerging Leaders Program.

Tracy has been involved with the Pueblo Latino Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years, serving on the Board of Directors for multiple terms, and most recently serving as the Chair of the Board in 2024.  She has also served the community by supporting the YMCA of Pueblo, Mariposa Center for Safety, Pueblo Firefighters Historical Society, Southern Colorado Press Club and Broadway Theatre League.

She is a proud lifelong Puebloan who received her degree in Mass Communications from CSU Pueblo (formerly the University of Southern Colorado).

Tracy is married, and she and her husband, combined, have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, attending performing arts events and traveling.
