The mission of the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities is to promote the quality of life of people with cognitive disabilities and their caregivers by catalyzing advances in technology.
The Institute supports research and development of technology at the four University of Colorado campuses for individuals living with cognitive disabilities and their caregivers. We are committed to providing scientific and technological leadership to strengthen the voice of our community.
Participate In Research
The Coleman Institute is helping our colleagues on all four University of Colorado campuses to recruit participants for research. Let us know if you are a CU faculty/student/staff engaged in research related to technology for people living with cognitive disabilities and need help recruiting subjects for your research. We are happy to help you advertise your recruiting needs. Contact Leslie.Emery@cu.edu for more information.
The CU Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering (CIDE) is building their Disability and Aging Research Recruitment Database. You are encouraged to participate in our research if you are someone with a disability, an older adult (65+ years old) aging into disability, a caregiver for someone with a disability or older adults, or are a subject matter expert in disability, aging, and/or assistive technology. This voluntary database is designed to increase the number of potential participants for all research studies and user experience testing at CIDE.
